It comes from farming families of the Lenca ethnic group, descendants of the Mayan civilization, a culture that protects the environment and constantly fights for respect for human rights. This group is made up of 27 producers, 37% of whom are women, with a coffee park of 150 hectares of coffee certified with the Rainforets Alliance and organic production on the way to regenerative agriculture certification.
